Can I use Workabout if I work for myself?
Yes, you can use Workabout if you are a freelancer, self-employed or a sole-trader.
When signing up, you must select the 'Employer' option from the dropdown menu under the 'Organisation Type' field. Insert a company name into this field and finish filling out the remainder of the sign up form as required. This will allow you to create an 'Employer' account, giving you access to all the data insights that we offer Employers about workspace bookings and budget usage etc.
From here, you can book workspaces by clicking on the Workabout logo in the top left hand corner of the screen, and then clicking the 'Start search' button that appears in the middle of the screen. You will be able to book workspaces and utilise the Workabout platform as an employee of a larger organisation would, with the added benefit of an insights dashboard allowing you to efficiently keep track of your spending and booking history.
